Source Luxury - Blog

Here at The Source Luxury Group, we're always finding ways to offer all of our clients an experience to remember so when we got a call asking for a hire of an Aston Martin DB9 Volante for a surprise birthday party we jumped at the chance to help.

The gentleman's partner had to make sure every single detail was perfect so the birthday boy would start his James Bond themed party the way he'd never forget. He did exactly that.

We arranged for a chauffeur driven Aston Martin DB9 Volante to collect the birthday boy from the prestigious location in Egham, Great Fosters Country House Hotel and take him to the evening location in Oxford.

Here is the feeback our client gave us and a picture of the birthday boy:

“I arranged a surprise 30th Birthday Party for my husband, James Bond themed, and hired the Aston Martin DB9 from Source Luxury.

Sam was very patient on the email with all my queries, and kindly sent me photo’s of the car too.  My husband was extremely surprised

When he saw his dream car and realised it was for him! Jay, the chauffeur did a great job, and allowed us loads of pictures when they arrived

at the venue. It was such a pleasure dealing with Source Luxury, and I have already recommended them to friends!”

Classic car sales have risen in 2009, despite the downward trend among the rest of the automotive sector.

RM Auctions said it had sold more than 1450 cars so far this year, generating in excess of £117 million.

Ian Kelleher, president and Chief Operating Officer for RM Auctions said; “The market for 'quality' motor cars - remains stable, with outstanding cars continuing to attract great prices at auction."

Over the past year a number of new sales records were set. A 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa sold for more than £8m, becoming the most expensive car ever sold.
