Terms and Conditions - Rental

1. INTERPRETATION
1.1. In these terms and conditions the following words have the following meanings:
1.2. the Buyer: the person(s), firm or company named who enters into the hire agreement with the Lessor
1.3. the Agent: THE SOURCE LUXURY GROUP, Suite 4 Wey House, 15 Church Street, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 8NA
1.4. Contract: the contract between the Buyer and the Lessor for hiring the Vehicle from the Lessor, on the terms and conditions set out herein incorporating the signed hire agreement agreed at the time of delivery setting out the details of the hire agreement. The signature of the Buyer on the agreement confirms they are duly authorised to enter into the contract and agree to be bound by it
1.5. the Lessors : the organisation or business from which the Vehicle is owned by or hired from
1.6. Vehicle: the motor vehicle or a similar vehicle, details of which are set out in the Lessors agreement.

2. GENERAL
2.1. All prices quoted are in UK Pounds Sterling.
2.2. All prices include 150 miles per day unless otherwise agreed. Excess mileage charges are subject to vehicle type.
2.3. A credit card deposit is required on all hires depending on vehicle type between £1000 and £5000.

3. AGE LIMITS
3.1. All drivers must be over 25 years and under 70 years of age and must have held a valid licence for at least two years, this must be presented at the time of rental. Certain endorsements may not be accepted, please check when making your reservation.

4. LOSS OR DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
4.1. Liability for each and every accident involving any damage to or loss of the vehicle, and/or third party vehicle during the rental period depends on the insurance excess for that vehicle. N.B. Conditions apply.

5. ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
5.1. The charge for each additional driver starts from £10.00 per day. His/her licence must be seen at the commencement of hire. NO OTHER PERSON MAY DRIVE THE VEHICLE.

6. EARLY TERMINATION
6.1. The Lessor does not allow refunds in the event of the hire being terminated early. We therefore suggest that the vehicle is booked only for the period required. If the hirer wishes to extend the rental, he/she must advise the rental agent. Failure to do this may result in the withdrawal of insurance cover. TO DRIVE WITHOUT INSURANCE COVER IS ILLEGAL.

7. AVAILABILITY OF VEHICLES
7.1. Every effort will be made to provide the vehicle chosen. However, the Lessor reserves the right to offer the nearest vehicle model as an alternative. The Lessor also does not guarantee the colour of vehicle booked.

8. ADDITIONAL HOURS
8.1. All hires are taken on a 24 hour basis unless otherwise agreed. Vehicles returned later than the time stated on the rental agreement will be charged accordingly.

9. PETROL
9.1. The cost of petrol/diesel is not included in the rates. Vehicles are supplied with an adequate amount of petrol and should be returned with a similar quantity. Petrol/diesel required to refill cars to this level will incur a surcharge of £20 per quarter.

10. PAYMENT
10.1. We accept all major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Amex, and Visa Delta.

11. OVERSEAS USE
11.1. Vehicles must not leave mainland Britain without the Lessors consent.
11.2. Should a vehicle be taken abroad the excess on this vehicle will be doubled with a minimum excess set at £5000.

12. TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS
12.1. The Lessor reserves the right to levy an administration charge of £25 + VAT for the processing of any traffic violations or fines incurred during a hire period.

13. CANCELLATIONS
13.1. If you cancel within 72 hours of the hire date then we require 10% of the hire charge. If the hire is cancelled within 48 hours then a 25% charge will be taken. If the hire is cancelled either 24 hours or on the day the hire is due to take place then a 50% charge will be taken.

14. RATES
14.1. The Lessor reserves the right to vary the rates and conditions and to refuse and terminate any rental without giving prior reason or notice.
